Chief Executive Officer
Kariena Greiten serves as the CEO of WNS-HealthHelp. In this role, Kariena is responsible for the performance and compliance of HealthHelp that oversees the management of high-tech, high-cost healthcare specialty spend for health plans. Prior to WNS, Kariena held management positions in Magellan Health, CIGNA Health Services, Tymetrix and Bank of America.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Lopez is a seasoned physician executive with over 10 years of managed care experience. His experience includes Medicaid and Medicare program coverage and payment, value-based contract design and implementation, HEDIS metric design, health plan clinical leadership, utilization operations and process management, population disease management, and quality management and metrics expertise. Dr. Lopez holds a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California at San Diego.
Chief Information Officer
Mark Conroy has over thirty-five years of engineering experience in providing high-technology solutions utilizing a very diverse background in both computer hardware and software disciplines. Having spent the last 28 years working exclusively for start-up companies, Mark has keen insight into navigating the Information Technology landscape and arriving at the most cost-effective and risk-mitigated engineering solutions. During his 15-year tenure at HealthHelp, he has built an information technology platform that is innovative, secure and robust. Prior to joining HealthHelp, Mr. Conroy co-founded ESX Engineering where he served as vice president of a fast-paced health-care and Internet-oriented information technology consulting firm. Prior to Joining ESX, Mr. Conroy served as the director of Software Development and Engineering for Physix, a leading provider of physician-workflow software. Mr. Conroy is native to the Houston, Texas, area where he attended the University of Houston College of Technology.
Chief Sales Officer
Todd Sabath serves as the Chief Sales Officer of WNS-HealthHelp. In this role, Todd is responsible for all business development and marketing activities. Prior to WNS, Todd held various leadership positions at Optum, Exela Technologies, and Medical Mutual.
Vice President, Operations
Todd Silmon serves as Vice President, Operations for WNS-HealthHelp. In this role, Todd is responsible for achieving best-in-class service through our contact center operations. He has also engaged in multiple Voice of the Customer (VOC) initiatives resulting in customer retention and service-level consistency while reducing operating cost. Prior to joining WNS, Todd served as Enterprise Workforce Planning Manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Senior Vice President, Products and Program Management
Dr. Hill is a seasoned Medical Executive with full-scale expertise in directing all aspects of managed care medical operations, leading strategic planning and capturing revenue-generating opportunities while driving efforts to enhance service offerings, improve performance and boost the quality of patient care. Dr. Hill holds an Executive MBA Certificate from University of Houston and a Doctorate of Medicine from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Senior Vice President, Client Services
Laticia Miller serves as the SVP Client Services of WNS – HealthHelp. In this role, Laticia is responsible for facilitating on-time delivery of HealthHelp’s clinical quality and safety programs for new clients, as well as ongoing performance management and improvement. Laticia has earned a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma and is an expert in process transformation, redesign, and growing multiple start-up organizations. In the industry, she has contributed through her leadership efforts with the HIMSS ME-PI Committee and Innovation Pathways working group.
Vice President, Human Resources
Adrienne is an accomplished HR professional with experience building effective “people processes” for growth companies. Over the years, she has earned the reputation of being able to attract quality talent, build great corporate cultures, and foster uncommonly high levels of employee engagement and retention. She has a B.S. Degree in Business Administration (HR Management Concentration), from the New York Institute of Technology and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute.
Corporate VP - Finance
Om Singh (OP) is global finance controller for WNS. He leads the international locations finance & accounting function for WNS, spread across multi-locations in China, Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Romania, Poland, Spain, Turkey and UK in Europe, Costa Rica and North America. He also Heads Finance for HealthHelp and Denali acquired entities of WNS. OP is Chartered Accountant & Cost Accountant by training. OP has decades of experience at senior finance leadership role across geographies. Prior to joining WNS he was leading finance for Zavata Inc (now acquired by Southerland). Prior to Zavata he worked with HeroITES a Hero Honda Group Company, BPL Limited and The Associated Cement Companies Limited at various locations across India.
Medical Director of Cardiology
Dr. DeFrance has a unique background including clinical interventional cardiologist, chief medical officer, educator, outcomes researcher and entrepreneur. He has expertise in appropriate utilization of technology in medicine, healthcare economics, value based metrics, and educational design and delivery. Dr. DeFrance is currently the Medical Director of Cardiology for HealthHelp. He has worked with HealthHelp for over ten years at one point serving as chief medical officer. In these capacities he has led large teams of healthcare professionals in writing evidence based appropriate care guidelines and rule sets which improve the quality and safety of medicine for over 20 million people in the US while also creating sustained savings in healthcare. He has also designed clinical decision support systems that are currently in use helping to improve patient care. In 2018 Dr. DeFrance founded MedMentor, an education company that provides state of the art CME content using the latest in eLearning science and online delivery platforms. Dr. DeFrance is also the founder and President of Digimedica, a consulting and educational design and delivery company for healthcare professionals, hospitals, and universities. He is passionate about creating systems to optimize knowledge transfer and has won numerous awards for teaching excellence during his career. He is an expert in cardiovascular CT imaging and has taught more than 3,000 physicians how to perform and interpret cardiac CT nationally and internationally and has lectured extensively on this subject. Dr. DeFrance has a stellar reputation in the medical field and continues work to improve the quality and safety of patient care in the US.
Medical Director of Clinical Services
Dr. Shanser is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist who practiced with Bay Area Radiologists in San Francisco from 1981 to 2009 and subsequently at the Reno Diagnostic Center in Reno, Nevada. Through his four-decade career, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF), and he has held leadership positions in both the American College of Radiology (ACR) and California Radiological Society (CRS). He was the Chairman of the ACR Coding and Nomenclature Committee as well as Chairman of the ACR Regulatory Compliance Task Force. He also was President of the CRS, for which he still serves on the Executive Committee and as a Councilor to the ACR. He is a member of both the Radiological Society of North America(RSNA) and the American Roentgen Ray Society(ARRS) and regularly attends both of their national meetings. He is currently licensed in both California and Nevada.
Medical Director of Musculoskeletal Services
Dr. Fischer specializes in lumbar disc herniations, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar degenerative disc disease, instability, and cervical spine degeneration. She is expert in advanced minimally invasive spine surgery techniques such as minimally invasive microdiscetomy, MIS lumbar fusions, robotic-assisted spine surgery, and advanced MIS techniques. Her advanced skill in MIS helps her deliver accelerated patient recovery times with the least possible post-operative pain. Dr. Fischer is an Ivy League-trained orthopedic spine surgeon having completed her residency at Columbia after completing both medical school and undergraduate school on a full academic scholarship at University of Southern California. She spent a year specializing in spine surgery at NYU-Hospital for Joint Diseases. As an associate professor of spine surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, Dr. Fischer teaches residents and medical students in the areas of compassionate patient care and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Fischer is committed to improving the care of all orthopedic patients as the Spine Division Director of Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Orthopedics. She has received grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF). The funding helps her pursuits in the advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques, and quality of life improvements after spine surgery. She routinely publishes in the top peer-reviewed journals and presents her findings at internationally attended academic meetings. She serves on the SRS Research Committee and is an Associate Editor for the prestigious Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery.
Medical Director for Integrative Oncology
Dr. Amin Mirhadi is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist, who currently serves as a Faculty Physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in the Department of Radiation Oncology and the the Samuel Oschin Cancer Center. His primary clinical and research interests include breast cancer, lung cancer, and brain tumors, with an emphasis on utilizing techniques which deliver minimal amounts of radiation to the surrounding normal tissue, such as Image Guided Radiosurgery, Optical Surface Tracking and various other motion management techniques. Dr. Mirhadi has published several articles in prestigious journals and has written 5 chapters for widely used textbooks. At Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Mirhadi has focused his research and departmental development efforts on enhanced localization techniques, an aspect of Radiation Oncology that allows for more precisely guided radiation therapy. He has also served as the medical director for oncology services for HealthHelp since 2012. During his tenure here, he is over seen the development and refinement of all of the cancer related programs including radiation oncology, medical oncology, cancer imaging and various surgical and biopsy programs. In addition, he has cultivated and developed a Virtual Tumor Board program which has been instrumental in providing a better connection between the provider community and review physicians and is the first of its kind in the area of cancer management.
Medical Director of Sleep
Dr. Ulysses Magalang, MD is a practicing Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine Specialist in Columbus, OH. He has been in practice for more than 22 years. Dr. Magalang is board-certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. He has published more than 50 scholarly articles including original manuscripts in major journals in his field. Dr. Magalang has been actively involved in an international consortium of sleep medicine researchers- the Sleep Apnea Global Interdisciplinary Consortium (SAGIC), a collaborative group comprised of international experts in the field of sleep medicine.
Medical Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services
Dr. Pranshu Sharma is a Diagnostic Radiology specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Sharma was board certified by the American Board of Diagnostic Radiology. He attended and graduated from medical school in 1992, having over 28 years of diverse experience, especially in Diagnostic Radiology. He is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Methodist Hospital.
Medical Director of Oncology Surgical Services and Endoscopic Services
Dr. Mahtabifard obtained his B.A. degree from University of California at Berkeley, CA and his M.D. from New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. He had his Internship and Residency in General Surgery at the St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center affiliated with New York Medical College, NY. Following a two year Research Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Center, Cornell University, New York, NY, Dr. Mahtabifard did a residency in General Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, Boston, MA. After a two year of Residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of California at Davis, Sacramento, CA and a year of Fellowship in Advanced Thoracic and Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Mahtabifard settled down in Private Practice of Thoracic Surgery in Beverly Hills, CA. He is also the current Clinical Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
