Physicians receive HealthHelp’s well-known ordering tool, the pocket-sized Medical Imaging Consultant (MIC), which contains the latest evidence-based information arranged by clinical condition. It helps ordering physicians choose the imaging procedure that offers the greatest clinical value with the lowest radiation exposure risk. Educational opportunities continue if procedure or treatment plan requests don’t meet HealthHelp’s clinical guidelines. Reviews are completed within forty-eight hours, and if our medical director or board-certified radiologists determine that an ordered test isn’t appropriate, HealthHelp provides the physician with peer-reviewed literature to suggest better options for subsequent patients. RadCert™ also tracks and trends physician ordering patterns. HealthHelp works closely with our clients’ medical management teams to produce relevant, informative reports on utilization management, physician usage, and other criteria.
